YOUR EYE HEALTH
Knowing what you should do to keep your eyes healthy can be challenging so we try to keep our patients updated with useful information about eye health. There are many things you can do to keep your eyes healthy like having regular examinations, eating healthily, using proper protective eyewear when necessary and taking regular breaks from screen time. Whenever you come in for an appointment, we encourage you to ask us about ways to keep your eyes healthy so we can help you practice eye care in your daily life.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR EYE EXAMINATION?
During the eye examination, a qualified optometrist will gather information to create a complete picture of your eyesight and eye health. This will involve tests of vision, pupil dilation, eye pressure and examinations of the different parts of the eye. Your optometrist will then be able to tell you if you need vision correction, treatment or management of an eye condition.
